Guatemala Mission Trip

Our expectations were high for this trip!

We were confident that God could use us in His work of transformation in the lives of people in Guatemala. But God’s ways are not our ways. The tansformation was more about what God was doing in each one of us. From working together as a team, praying together, experiencing the culture, delivering hampers to struggling families and being blessed by children who were so grateful – these were the things that changed us. In that mountain village of Tizate, they are a mirror image of who Jesus was speaking about when He said, “I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!”. We were thankful for your prayers and generosity in providing supplies and food to give to the children and families. May this be the reminder that God is at work around the world and in our own community using ordinary people who want to be a part of His kingdom work. We just need to be available.
